KinderuniKunst Kreativwoche mit Amanda Piña und Michikazu Matsune
Auch dieses Jahr beteiligt sich brut am Programm der KinderuniKunst Kreativwoche. Heuer bieten die zwei KünstlerInnen Amanda Piña und Michikazu Matsune je einen zweitägigen Workshop für Kinder an. Amanda Piña untersucht in ihrem Workshop Im Tierreich (2. und 3. Juli) mit Kindern zwischen 8 und 10 Jahren die Bewegungsabläufe von Tieren, die im Dschungel leben. Nachdem sich die Kinder am ersten Tag anhand von Filmbeispielen mit der Motorik der Tiere bekannt gemacht haben, üben sie deren typische Bewegungen und das Verhalten ein, bevor sie am zweiten Tag nach draußen gehen und im Wald gemeinsam mit der Künstlerin einen eigenen Tierfilm drehen. Roaaarrrrr!!!!!!
In seinem Workshop supergefühle (4. und 5. Juli) fragt Michikazu Matsune die Kinder, ob sie jemals glücklich, sauer, traurig, überrascht oder wirklich froh waren, und setzt gemeinsam mit ihnen ihre Assoziationen mit den unterschiedlichsten Gefühlen in Gestik und Bewegung um. Als Vorlage dienen Gemälde aus verschiedenen Epochen, die von den Kindern zwischen 10 und 12 Jahren nachgestellt und als Miniperformances auf Video aufgezeichnet werden.

Die Alte Liebe Produktionen in der Bremer Schwankhalle (vormals Junges Theater Bremen) schreiben seit 2004 den “Bremer Autoren- und Produzentenpreis” aus - 2012 zum neunten Mal.
Mit dem Bremer Autoren- und Produzentenpreis sollen Denk-, Sicht-, Arbeits- und Produktionsweisen – auch jenseits der etablierten Kunstsparten – gefördert werden, die im Sinne eines erweiterten Autorenbegriffes und Produzententums interdisziplinäre Arbeitsanlässe und Wirkungsweisen konkret erforschen und umsetzen. Im Sinne dieses neuen Autorenbegriffes sind zur Bewerbung neben Theatermachern und Autoren ausdrücklich auch Bildende Künstler, Wissenschaftler, Journalisten, Filme- und Hörspielmacher eingeladen.
Prämiert wird die Konzeption eines Projektes zu einem gesellschaftlich relevanten Thema. Die Projektrealisierung soll zum Zeitpunkt der Antragstellung noch nicht begonnen und das Projekt bei Bewerbungsschluss noch nicht realisiert sein. Formale oder räumliche Kriterien sind für die einzureichenden Projektideen nicht vorgegeben.
Bewerben können sich Autoren und Produzenten aus dem europäischen Raum, die mindestens ein in wesentlichen Teilen performatives Projekt (Theater, Musik, Tanz, Show, Präsentation, Performance, Literatur, Hörspiel, Film, TV) bereits realisiert haben, mit einem Exposé, Buch oder Libretto oder in einer beliebigen anderen Form der Präsentation in deutscher oder englischer Sprache.
Seit 2009 ist der Preis dank der Unterstützung der Bremer Karin und Uwe Hollweg-Stiftung mit 15.000 Euro dotiert und beinhaltet damit auch einen Produktionskostenanteil von 10.000 € für die Realisierung des Projektes der Preisträger, der von den Jury neben möglichen Sachleistungen der Schwankhalle zweckgebunden vergeben wird und in der Bewerbung dargestellt werden kann.
Zu den Bewerbungsunterlagen gehören neben Titel und Kurzbeschreibung des eingereichten Projektes auch eine Ideenskizze zur formalen Umsetzung, die Präsentation mindestens eines bereits verwirklichten Projektes und ein künstlerischer Lebenslauf.
Die Alte Liebe Produktionen koproduzieren die Entwicklung und Umsetzung des prämierten Vorschlags. Mit dem Preis verbunden ist ein einmonatiges Aufenthaltsstipendium in der Schwankhalle Bremen, in dem an der Realisierung oder an neuen Projekten gearbeitet werden kann.
Der Bremer Autoren- und Produzentenpreis wird für die Alte Liebe Produktionen jährlich durch eine Jury aus Musik-, Medien- und Theater-Produzenten, -Kritikern und -Veranstaltern vergeben.

AUTHORS AND PRODUCERS AWARD OF BREMEN 2012
The Alte Liebe productions from the Schwankhalle Bremen (formerly Junges Theater Bremen) once more announce the competition “Bremer Autoren- und Produzentenpreis” (authors and producers award of Bremen ) in the field of theatre, literature, music, performance and media for 2012.
Thanks to the Karin and Uwe Hollweg foundation the award is endowed with 15.000 € for the fourth time, thus including a share of the production costs for the project of the awardee.
The intention of the authors and producers award of Bremen is to take the uprating of the authoring concept within the contemporary performing arts into account by encouraging artists who actively explore and implement interdisciplinary ways of thinking, perceiving, working and producing - even beyond the established art forms. In the spirit of this new concept of authoring not only theatre-makers, dance producers and authors are invited, but also specifically visual artist, stage designers, dramatic advisors, journalists, scientists and movie and radio play producers with their performing arts projects.
Authors and producers from the European region who have realized at least one performing arts project (theatre, music, dance, performance, literature, radio play, movie, TV) may apply with an expose, a book, a libretto or any other form of presentation in German or English. The award will be handed out for the concept of an interdisciplinary project regarding a socially relevant topic. The realization of the project ought not to have started at the time of application and the project should not be realized at application deadline.
There are no formal or spatial criteria predetermined for the project proposals that are handed in. The application documents should include the title and a short description of the proposed project as well as an idea sketch as to how it is to be implemented, the presentation of at least one realized project and an artistic résumé. The Alte Liebe Produktionen will co-produce the development and implementation of the award winning project and maybe further projects. Tied with the prize is a one month residence grant at the Schwankhalle Bremen to realize the project or work on new ones.
The authors and producers award of Bremen is assigned annually by a jury of music, media and theatre producers, critics and organizers in behlf of the Alte Liebe Produktionen.
Members of the jury in 2012 are Brigitte Schulte-Hofkrüger (projektgruppe neue musik), Axel P. Sommerfeld (Radio Bremen Vier), Benno Schirrmeister (taz nord), Holger Rink (radio play Nordwestradio), Anja Wedig (Alte Liebe Produktionen), Tim Schomacker (freelance journalist and author), Peter Schulze (artistic advisor of the fair jazzahead!), Janine Claßen (freelance dramatic advisor, kulturg.u.t. e.V.), Kai Stührenberg (Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH).

Performance Studies an der Universität Hamburg: Experimentelle szenische Künste in Theorie und Praxis
Der Master-Studiengang Performance Studies ist ein wissenschaftlicher und künstlerischer Studiengang. Er verbindet kultur- und sozialwissenschaftliche Reflexion, künstlerische Praxis und ästhetische Bildung in Tanz und Theater, Choreographie und Regie. Dem Studium liegt ein weit gefasster Performancebegriff zu Grunde, der theatrale Praktiken und Poetiken in sozialen, kulturellen, politischen und künstlerischen Feldern umfasst.
Im Zentrum des Studiums stehen die kritisch-politische und theoretisch-praktische Auseinandersetzung mit Aufführungen und Inszenierungen in den szenischen Künsten, in der populären Kultur, den Medien und im Alltag. Dabei liegt der Schwerpunkt auf jenen performativen Praktiken, bei denen Körper und Bewegung Gegenstand, Mittel oder Agent der ästhetischen Auseinandersetzung sind. Ziel des Studiums ist es, Aufführungskonzepte aus sozial-, kultur- und bildungstheoretischen und ästhetischen Perspektiven zu verstehen und zugleich Kompetenzen für eine reflektierte künstlerische Praxis und Vermittlung zu erwerben.
Der zweijährige Studiengang ist modular konzipiert und führt zum Abschluss Master of Arts in Performance Studies. Die Teilnahme am Studiengang setzt ein abgeschlossenes fachnahes Hochschulstudium oder einen vergleichbaren Abschluss sowie eine bestandene Eignungsprüfung voraus.
Der Studiengang wird getragen vom Zentrum für Performance Studies, das als fakultäts- und institutionsübergreifender Zusammenschluss von Wissenschaftler/innen unterschiedlicher Fachdisziplinen, Künstler/innen, Dramaturg/innen und Intendant/innen die Planung, Durchführung und Weiterentwicklung des Masterstudiengangs Performance Studies zur Aufgabe hat.

Büchner-Theaterfestival: Call for projects
Am 19. Februar 2012 jährt sich der Todestag des Dichters, Naturwissenschaftlers und Revolutionärs Georg Büchner zum 175. Mal; am 17. Oktober 2013 erinnern wir uns seines zweihundertsten Geburtstages.
Zum Anlass der Gedenkjahre 2012/13 sind in ganz Hessen zahlreiche Aktivitäten geplant. Eines davon ist ein einwöchiges Büchner-Theaterfestival mit internationalen Gastspielen im Frühjahr 2013 am Stadttheater Giessen. Andere hessische Theater sollen durch Anschlussaufführungen in ihren Häusern einbezogen werden.
Das Büchner-Festival wird die Hessischen Theatertage flankieren, an denen seit 1984 Theater aus ganz Hessen regelmäßig ihre Schauspielinszenierungen präsentieren und das 2013 gleichfalls vom Stadttheater Gießen ausgerichtet wird. So soll sich für eine Woche eine breite Palette an Theatersprachen und -formen um Büchner herum präsentieren und zum Austausch anregen.
Für dieses Festival suchen wir internationale Theaterprojekte zu / über / mit / inspiriert von Büchner und seinem Werk. Uns interessieren dabei weniger "klassisch" dramatische Inszenierungen seiner Texte, als performative, tänzerische, musiktheatrale, dokumentarische, grenzgängerische Zugänge. Oder eben der fremdsprachige, interkulturelle Blick. Naturwissenschaft, Medizin, Menschenrechte, Geschichte, Revolution, Fragment, Dokument/Fiktion, Nerven, Wahnsinn, Subjektivität ... nur ein paar wenige Stichworte, an die sich bei Büchner anschließen lässt. Lecture Performances sind darum genauso denkbar, wie Audiowalks - oder dramatische Pastiches.
Die Arbeiten müssen bereits gezeigt oder in Vorbereitung sein; Premiere muss in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2012 liegen.

About Experimentica
Experimentica is a key event for the presentation of new performance and
interdisciplinary projects across installation, film, video, sound art, dance
and theatre. It is a significant platform for artists from Wales to produce
or introduce their work, alongside contributions and commissions by
internationally established artists.
Experimentica is part of a UK network of festivals and organisations —
including The National Review of Live Art, Glasgow, In Between Time, Bristol
and the Live Art Development Agency, London — that is dedicated to the
development of the live art scene.
Over the last 10 years Experimentica has presented performance art from
Japan, Canada, China and Mexico, cutting edge dance from Brazil, Australia
and Korea alongside a selection of innovative performance, film, dance, music
and installation from Wales and elsewhere in the UK. Projects have ranged from
large scale to intimate and from formal exhibition space and studio to off-site
intervention. Chapter works with partner venues, artists and groups to develop

EXPERIMENTICA 2012: UNSEEN
This year, Chapter is hosting a season of films to celebrate 100 years of
the British Board of Film Classification. Launching in the summer, and
continuing throughout the year, the programme will include the likes of
Shock Corridor (1963), Pink Flamingos (1972), Blackboard Jungle (1955)
and No Orchids For Miss Blandish (1948) — films that have in one way or
another pushed the boundaries of their medium.
Experimentica 2012: UNSEEN will profile new work that in some way reflects
this notion of the challenging; the experimental; the genre defining.
UNSEEN is not a theme for the festival, more a point of departure; a catalyst
for ideas; an opportunity to explore the often hidden or ignored; the spaces
between and on the edge.
How to APPLY
Chapter is looking for proposals from artists at all stages in their careers,
based in Wales, the UK and internationally.
To submit an idea for consideration, please send a written proposal that
includes the following:
— N ame, address, telephone number(s) and email contact.
— A proposal/artist’s statement outlining specific concerns and interests.
This should include: an indication of technical requirements eg AV or other
equipment, details of the type of space that you ideally require eg black box
theatre, café / bar or public space, gallery, etc
— An idea of material and production costs. (This can be an estimation but will
give us some perameters to work with.)
— Supporting material. We receive a high number of applications each year
so please be selective about what you send — think about what best
represents your practice and which you feel would be most appropriate
to the festival.
Visual material can be submitted in the following ways:

DVD: We can view most DVD types and prefer to receive film works this way.
You can also send us a link to Vimeo, YouTube or other websites where your
films are uploaded but please send a password if one is required.

labelled in a folder with your name.

a.pass - advanced performance and scenography studies: Call for ARTISTIC RESEARCH PROJECTS

IF you are working in the performing arts and want to develop an artistic research project in a professional, collaborative environment, free from production constraints,
OR if you want to explore the concepts of performativity and/or scenography in depth, coming out of another practice or knowledge field
THEN a.pass (advanced performance and scenography studies) can offer you a one year post-master artistic research program in which you can develop your project. In a context of self-education and collaboration you create a personal trajectory through workshops, individual mentoring and interaction with the other participants. At the end of this period, you present and communicate your research.
BESIDE the post-master programs, a.pass also invites artists and theoreticians engaged in a PhD in the Arts trajectory to develop their independent artistic and transdisciplinary projects (partly) within the a.pass knowledge environment.
The a.pass context offers you the possibility to develop your skills as an independent and critical researcher and provides you with the context and instruments that answer to your specific questions and needs. Participants of a.pass manage their own research in continuous interaction with the other participants and, by doing so, engage in the organization of the shared curriculum.
The a.pass program is a 12-month program consisting of three blocks of four months. The first three months of each block take place within the organized collective research environment. Participants develop their personal trajectory in constant communication with the other participants and co-ordinators, through parti-cipation in workshops, with feed-back from dedicated mentors and through the choice of personal mentors. The last month of each block is open for the further individual development of the research project.

PACT Zollverein vergibt von Januar bis Juni 2013 Residenzen zur Erarbeitung künstlerischer Projekte
und Produktionen. Das Residenz-Programm steht professionellen Kunstschaffenden aus dem In- und Ausland
offen, die in den Bereichen Tanz, Performance, Medienkunst oder Musik arbeiten. Die Residenzen werden
individuell besprochen und beinhalten einen Arbeitsraum, Unterkunft in einer Gästewohnung sowie eine
finanzielle Unterstützung in Form eines wöchentlichen Stipendiums und der Übernahme der Reisekosten.
Zudem werden in Absprache und je nach Bedarf unterschiedliche Formen der Produktionsbegleitung in den
Bereichen Dramaturgie, Technik, Projektmanagement sowie Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit angeboten.
Eine Residenz KANN folgende Leistungen beinhalten
> ein Arbeitsstudio (zwischen 63 und 173 qm)
> Unterbringung (max. 6 Personen)

CALL FOR ENTRIES Residencies 1/2013 FROM January TO June 2013
From January to June 2013 PACT Zollverein is offering a residency programme for the development and
realisation of projects and productions, which is open to professional artists from both Germany and abroad
working in the fields of dance, performance, media art or music. Residencies are planned individually and
include a working space and local accommodation as well as financial support in the form of a weekly grant
allowance and travel costs. By arrangement and subject to requirement, PACT Zollverein also offers its
residents technical support and advisory assistance with press and public relations and dramaturgy.
A residency CAN incorporate the following:
> Studio space (from 63 to 173 sq. m.)
> Local accommodation (maximum 6 people)
> Weekly grant allowance for all of the residency project participants (maximum group of 6 people)
> Travel costs covering one journey only per participant to and from PACT Zollverein (subject to prior agreement)
